Utilising the latest versions of both 2D and 3D CAD software, our team can provide innovative solutions to even the most challenging requirements. Additionally, our design team can provide helpful CAD support to supply only fabrication orders.
Our ability to fabricate metal is fundamental to our business, and we take a great deal of pride in ensuring that our work is of the highest possible quality.
To achieve this, our investment in manufacturing is both high and ongoing, whether that be in fabricator training, machinery, or technology.
With this, we aim to create a synergy between our artisanal fabrication skills and the latest machinery and technology – focusing on improving the way things have always been done and, in the process, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved.
Our notable manufacturing features include: –
Over 15,000 Sq./Ft. of manufacturing space
A dedicated and fully equipped unit for manufacture of aluminium products and systems (curtain walling, doors, screens etc)
Touch screen monitors on the shop floor, allowing our fabricators to access full drawing details at point they are needed.
A dedicated unit for sheet metal work, which includes our specialist Score-Folding machinery, Brake Press and Guillotine (amongst others)
7 mtr, 4-axis CNC machining centre
Multiple 7 mtr CNC double mitre saws
6 fully equipped welding bays (Including water-cooled TIG and Synergic Pulse MIG)
CE Certified for Structural work in both Stainless and Mild Steel
Dedicated hand-finishing bay for Bronze patination and polishing.
Unlike many architectural metalworkers, to ensure quality is maintained throughout the project Ultimet employs its own full-time and highly skilled specialist site fixing teams.
With decades of experience installing metalwork projects of all kinds, our installation teams work closely with our Project Management to ensure that all aspects of the works are captured, RAMS are adhered to, and our rigorous standards are maintained.
Our teams all carry CSCS or SSSTS cards as standard.
Our site and project managers hold SMSTS accreditation.
In addition, our in-house health and safety team are
The range of finishing options and products is quite astonishing, providing a vast range of looks and textures.
From basic galvanising to powder coating, anodising, polishing, and hand finished patinated bronze (amongst many others), we can provide our clients with exactly the finish they require.
Whilst many of these standard and semi-standard finishes are applied by our approved specialist sub-contractors, we have in-house facilities to provide a range of hand finishes and polishes – including bronze patination.
Bronze and brass work are one of our fastest growing areas, and so to compliment our fabrication expertise we also offer in-house patination.
This highly specialised and hand-finished technique is timeless, allowing us to give new material a classic aged look.
We have developed our artisanal skills over considerable time, and our trained patinators pride themselves on being able to match any existing finish or, alternatively, develop the perfect bespoke finish for our clients.
Our previous work includes lift architraves, bronze feature walls, specialist doors, signs, desks, skirtings, and trims. We have also designed, made, and installed a highly impressive bronze fin feature wall for the Nova building in Victoria.
In addition, we are also able to apply many of our hand applied finishes under site conditions, which allows for high quality on-site repairs and maintenance.
